Rolex Daytona 126519LN

The Rolex Daytona 126519LN is the white gold Daytona on Oysterflex: it looks almost like steel, weighs like gold, and in 2026 its value depends heavily on which dial you find.

Daytona 126519LN specifications

On paper this reference matches its Everose and yellow gold siblings exactly. The difference is the metal: 18 kt white gold gives a steel-like colour with far more weight in the hand.

History and reference evolution

White gold Daytonas were traditionally the quiet choice. Few people outside the hobby can tell them from steel. In 2017 Rolex launched the 116519LN, putting the white gold Daytona on the new Oysterflex strap with a black ceramic bezel. It was the least showy of the three Oysterflex models, and it earned a loyal following for that reason.

From 116519LN to 126519LN

The 126519LN replaced it in 2023, as part of the Daytona's 60th-anniversary refresh. Calibre 4131 arrived, bringing the Chronergy escapement while keeping 72 hours of reserve. A thin white gold edge now frames the Cerachrom bezel. Also, the counter rings became slimmer, and the case lines were refined.

On white gold, that bezel edge is subtle. It blends with the case rather than contrasting with it. So the easiest way to tell old from new remains the reference engraved between the lugs at 12.

The dial story

The 126519LN has carried more than one dial. Earlier production included a steel-toned dial with black counters, known to collectors as the "Ghost". There is also a black dial in a style some sellers call "Baby Le Mans". The meteorite and black dial (-0007) is the version Rolex Malaysia lists in October 2026. The steel and bright black dial (-0006) also still appears at one Malaysian retailer.

Why these changes matter for value

The new movement and bezel edge bring a modest uplift over the 116519LN. However, the dial matters far more. A meteorite 126519LN roughly doubles the price of a standard one. Consequently, the dial suffix is the first thing to verify in any listing.

126519LN pre-owned prices compared

Our bands for the Rolex Daytona 126519LN are for standard, non-meteorite dials. Rolex's US list price is not confirmed for this reference, so we rely on Malaysian retail: RM214,500 for the meteorite dial and RM194,500 for the steel and bright black.

Bands reflect asking and achieved prices from 3 public market sources in October 2026, rounded. Retail for comparison: n/a. Prices move; use them as a sense-check, not a quote.

What moves the price of this reference

First, meteorite versus everything else. Meteorite examples were asking around US$100,000 in October 2026, or about RM408,000. Standard dials asked between roughly US$47,500 and US$61,400. Within standard dials, the Ghost and the black dial each have fans, and prices vary by seller more than by any consistent rule.

Second, strap condition. A Daytona 126519LN with a nicked or stretched Oysterflex will be discounted, since the strap is the part that ages fastest. Third, the set. Without box and papers, expect about 10% less. Gem-set versions are excluded from our figures.

Where to check prices

Without a confirmed US list price, compare grey prices against the Malaysian list. That is unusual for us, but here it is the cleaner anchor. Next, look at dealer asks for the same dial code, because marketplace averages mix meteorite and standard dials. Auction results for this reference are sparse, so be wary of anyone quoting a single sale as "the market". Our used Rolex price guide shows how we read each source.

When a price is too good to be true

Our polished-watch band starts around US$38,000. So a standard-dial 126519LN offered with box and papers below about US$38,000 (about RM155,000) needs serious scrutiny. For a meteorite dial, anything under US$60,000 is almost certainly a fake, a frankenwatch or a stolen piece.

Genuine vs replica: how to check a 126519LN

White gold creates a specific problem. A replica in steel looks almost identical in colour, so the eye cannot help much. Instead, rely on weight, details and documents. Our fake Rolex guide covers the general method.

Weight first

Hold it next to a steel Daytona if you can. A genuine 126519LN feels clearly heavier than a steel 126500LN, even though the strap saves weight compared with a bracelet. A white-gold-coloured watch that feels light is almost certainly steel.

Dial and lume

A real meteorite dial shows a natural Widmanstätten pattern: crossing crystalline bands that differ on every piece. Fake meteorite dials are usually printed, so the pattern looks flat and repeats between watches. On standard dials, check that the counter rings are thin and evenly printed, as on the 2023 models.

Genuine: lume colour and application

even blue Chromalight glow
  • Modern pieces glow blue (Chromalight) and stay bright for hours
  • Every marker and hand glows at the same intensity
  • Lume plots filled neatly to the edge of the surround

Warning signs

patchy, mismatched green glow
  • Green or mixed-colour glow on a modern reference
  • Hands and markers fade at different rates
  • Overfilled or thin, lumpy plots under a loupe
On a genuine 126519LN, every hand and marker glows the same blue. A meteorite dial does not change that rule.

Rehaut, caseback and crown

The rehaut should carry the engraved ROLEX pattern with the serial at 6, aligned to the markers. Look for the faint etched coronet in the crystal above 6. Then confirm the Triplock crown with three marks below the logo, and pushers that screw down cleanly.

Genuine: rehaut engraving alignment

markers on the minute track
  • Each engraved crown and letter lines up with its minute marker
  • Engraving is crisp, even in depth, and readable at 12 o'clock
  • Serial number engraved on the rehaut at 6 on modern pieces

Warning signs

markers drift off-track
  • Letters drift between markers as they go around the ring
  • Shallow, sandy-looking or uneven engraving
  • Serial at 6 printed rather than engraved, or wrong format
The 126519LN rehaut engraving should align with every minute marker, with the serial at 6 o'clock.

Turn the watch over. The standard 126519LN has a solid, unengraved caseback. Among current Daytonas, only some models have a factory display back, so a 126519LN with a glass back is wrong.

Genuine: caseback

plain, fluted screw-down back
  • Solid Oystersteel or gold, fluted edge for the case wrench
  • No engraving on most models (some are factory-engraved, e.g. Sea-Dweller and Deepsea)
  • Display backs are factory-fitted only on certain models (e.g. some Daytona, 1908, Land-Dweller)

Warning signs

see-through or engraved back
  • Exhibition window on a model Rolex makes with a solid back
  • Stickers or decorative engravings sold as 'factory'
  • Back that turns too easily or sits proud of the case
A standard 126519LN has a solid screw-down caseback with no window. An exhibition back on this reference means a modified or fake watch.

What only a watchmaker can confirm

A watchmaker will open the case and look for the 4131 calibre markings, the blue Parachrom hairspring and Rolex's own Côtes de Genève finish. They will also test the column-wheel chronograph and confirm the case metal. For a meteorite dial, they can check that the dial is genuine and original. Finally, cross-check the card and serial using our serial number guide.

Who the 126519LN suits, and the alternatives

The Rolex Daytona 126519LN is for buyers who want precious metal without anyone noticing. It suits people who work in conservative offices, travel often, or simply dislike flashy gold. On a hot Kuala Lumpur afternoon, the Oysterflex strap is also more comfortable than a solid gold bracelet.

If you want the same strap with more warmth, consider the Everose 126515LN or the yellow gold 126518LN. For a white gold bracelet instead, the Daytona 126509 is the matching reference. Collectors chasing the motorsport story should look at the Le Mans 126529LN, at a much higher price. Our steel vs gold Daytona comparison explains why many buyers settle on steel instead.

126519LN FAQ

What is the Ghost Daytona?

"Ghost" is a collector nickname for the white gold Oysterflex Daytona with a steel-coloured dial and black counters. With white gold, a black bezel and a black strap, the whole watch reads grey and understated. Rolex never uses the name itself, so always confirm the dial code on the warranty card.

How much is the Rolex Daytona 126519LN in Malaysia?

In October 2026 Cortina Watch lists the meteorite version (-0007) at RM214,500, and The Hour Glass Malaysia lists the steel and bright black version (-0006) at RM194,500. Pre-owned, a standard dial with papers converts to roughly RM194,000–222,000. A meteorite dial costs about double.

Why is there no US price for the 126519LN?

We could not confirm a current US list price from an official retailer feed. One US price table implies about US$44,800 for white gold Oysterflex Daytonas after January 2026, but it is unverified. Rather than print a number we cannot stand behind, we show the Malaysian list prices, which are confirmed.

Is the 126519LN the same as the Le Mans Daytona?

No. The Le Mans 126529LN is also white gold on Oysterflex, but it uses calibre 4132, has a 100 in red on the bezel and was discontinued in 2024. It trades at several times the price of a 126519LN. Some 126519LN dials share the black-and-white look, which is why sellers sometimes borrow the name.

Is the white gold Daytona worth more than the Everose one?

On standard dials, they trade close together in 2026: our excellent-with-papers band is US$47,500–54,500 for the 126519LN and US$49,000–53,000 for the 126515LN. The meteorite white gold dial changes that, at around US$100,000.
